My Story
My golf journey began in 1974 in Medellín, Colombia, playing at Club El Rodeo. In 2003, I moved to the United States and started my coaching career at Bonaventure Golf Club, where I worked for 10 years. Later, I spent 5 years at Gran Palms Golf Club, honing my skills as a coach. Currently, I am proud to teach and share my passion for golf at Cooper Colony Golf Club and SpringTree Golf Club in Sunrise City. With decades of experience, my goal remains to inspire and develop golfers of all ages and skill levels.
Iván D. Mayor is the author of four books on Zen in Golf Mental Training, focusing on the short game, available on Amazon. Each book delves into the connection between mind and body to achieve precision and control in golf.
